Squads Trade: Experience Smarter, More Efficient Trading

Access Squads Trade through the left-hand navigation bar of the Squads App via the "Trade" tab. Once selected, you can seamlessly toggle between swaps and limit orders. 

While Squads Trade introduces a redesigned trading experience for both trade types, this article focuses on limit orders. Limit orders are the best way to trade with your Squads account, as they ensure trades occur at predetermined prices and don’t require immediate execution, offering flexibility in volatile markets. 

Select “Limit Orders” to access the order form, where you can specify your token pair, amounts, limit price, and expiry time.

Once executed through your Squads account, your order appears in the “Open Orders” section—providing a clear overview of all orders and their details. You can cancel unfilled orders at any time or expand any position to view detailed token charts.

Intent-Based Trading

We built Squads Trade with the conviction that intent-based trading will soon dominate onchain markets. Intent-based trading transcends single-exchange market orders by expressing what traders want to achieve rather than how to achieve it. This includes orders that execute across multiple venues, markets, and time horizons. Intent-based trading provides superior price execution while bringing traditional market sophistication to onchain markets—allowing traders to set their desired entry points and letting automation handle execution when conditions align. 

Our swaps and limit orders are currently powered by Jupiter, and more platforms will be integrated in the future. Squads Trade will offer deeper liquidity, optimized prices, and a seamless trading experience.
